- Contact & Delivery Details: Your mobile phone number (used as your primary account identifier via OTP authentication) and delivery address details.
- Medical Prescriptions: Images or digital documents of doctor prescriptions that you upload through the app to order prescription-only (Rx) medicines.
- Device Permissions:
- Camera & Storage: Required to take photographs or upload saved images of your prescriptions.
- Notifications: Required to send you updates regarding order verification, status, and delivery notifications.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following specific purposes:
- To verify and authenticate your account using Firebase Phone Number OTP.
- To enable our licensed pharmacists to review and approve uploaded prescriptions before dispensing medicines.
- To process, package, and deliver your orders directly to your specified address (currently focusing on Ernakulam district and surrounding areas).
- To communicate with you regarding your orders, support queries, and account status.
- To send you transactional notifications, security alerts, and system announcements.
Important: We do NOT share, sell, rent, or trade your medical prescriptions or personal identifier data with any third-party marketing companies.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data security is of utmost importance to us. We store your account profiles and prescription documents securely using Google Firebase and Cloud Firestore systems. Access to prescription images is strictly limited to authorized pharmacists and operational staff who require access for verification and fulfillment purposes.
4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
We may share your data with third parties only in the following scenarios:
- Fulfillment & Logistics: Sharing your name, delivery address, and phone number with our delivery personnel to coordinate shipping.
- Legal Requirements: Sharing information with government or regulatory bodies if required under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, or other legal obligations.
5. Your Rights & Data Deletion
We respect your control over your personal data. You have the right to:
- View and edit your profile information at any time within the profile settings in the app.
- Request deletion of your account and all associated personal information. You can do this directly from within the app settings by selecting the Delete Account option, or by visiting our website's Account Deletion Request Page.
Upon receiving a deletion request, we will permanently purge your profile, address information, and inactive cart items from our databases. However, please note that order transactions, invoices, and drug distribution logs must be retained for a legally required period under pharmaceutical and taxation laws in India.
